How do you go about composing go problems? I am interested in composing problems of my own, and I'm wondering if there is a cerain technique or method to follow? |

I do not remember where I read it, but in some book the author listed three ways of composing problems: - get them from games, modify if necessary - for tesuji problems or a theme, just build around that certain thing, combine themes, add distracting stones for harder-to-see solutions - randomly throw stones on the goban and see how they arrange, rearrange for an interesting problem |
