Hello.

I was just interested to hear what you think is essential info to put on a go poster.
I'm using this to advertise and draw more members to my club.

Put a Go problem on it. Probably an easy one or so. It might attract people who get interested in how to solve the problem. Also, you could even put a little hint to make it easier for people who aren't familiar with Go.

And then of course add the club times and the meeting places.

(Yes, I stole this idea from HnG.)

Just something simple, and with wide appeal. "Like Board games? Try go!" With a picture of a board position, or people playing. And, obviously, the club info.

The AGA has a few good designs on their site that you can download and print out. If I remember right, 1 is a pretty decent graphic of stones on a board and the other is more info based "x000 year old game, challenging, etc.". Both have blank space to fill in the when and the where.

Only include the time and location if those are actually definite. Otherwise, I'd include some sort of contact info (website would be best, especially if it includes all the necessary meeting details).

Other than that, I'd recommend you keep it simple, albeit eye-catching. :)
