My daughter installed a go program on her phone as an Easter surprise for me. If I'm lucky, she might even let me play it (and if I'm really lucky, she'll play it herself).

My daughter installed a go program on her phone as an Easter surprise for me. If I'm lucky, she might even let me play it (and if I'm really lucky, she'll play it herself).

It is Go Free from AIfactory ( https://market.android.com/details?id=u ... ory.gofree )It has a nice looking board and stones and a pleasant green background. You can play against the computer (there are 10 levels) or play a two person game. The free version has a limit of 60 moves on the 19x19 board, but no limits on a 13x13 or 9x9 board. And we actually played a game this morning. She took 9 stones on the 13x13 board and trounced me

Sounds like a bright future in front of you  Maybe I will install it on the Android of my "better half" to get her playing - it will probably end up in a kind of cellphone user rights-discussion...
