So, it's that time where we all make resolutions for the new year and hopefully try to keep them. However, I figured we could apply this to Go. So, what are your Go resolutions for the 2012 year? Mine are: 1. Play more. 2. Reach 1 Dan. 3. Create a Go Club at TCC (college). |

Reaching 1 dan is a resolution you plan on doing? My resolutions are much more humble: I want to reach 5 kyu again, and set myself on the road to 4 kyu. |

I don't know if I'll reach it, but setting the target there will make me a better player. It's not the first time shodan is in my NYR list

Become 2 dan by the beginning of summer. Become stronger than 2 dan by the end of summer |

I am still 7kyu just not for long.  By the way I don't know if 1986 is checking the fourms but I feel like this would be the type of thing he would want to be part of, and he is about our level I think. |

- Still be playing Go at the end of the year - Improve a bit, specifically my knowledge of tesuji and life and death, also play several hundred games - Make a Lego Goban (floor board) - not full size, just 19 by 19 'bumps' across - then keep it on my desk at work.
