Post subject:  Please recommend places to go play/buy baduk books in Seoul

I'll be going to Seoul in May, and was wondering if anyone can recommend some places to visit that are related to Baduk, places I could play, places that have a good selection of Baduk books, even good Korean book recommendations would be greatly appreciated, etc.

Any thoughts?

Is there a bookstore at the Hankuk Kiwon?

Yes, but the selection is restricted. After having been at kyobobooks, I had no need to buy anything at the Hankuk Kiwon. I do not know when it is open.

Actually, the Hankuk Kiwon in Seoul has a good selection of go books. Their display is not as good as Kyobo's because the books are all stacked up, and the space is limited. So if you are trying to find a book on your own, it might be difficult due to the limited space, but if you simply ask the worker, they can help you find a large selection of go books (eg. you can tell them your rank, and what type of book you are interested in).

That being said, Kyobo is also very nice. Just go to the "hobby" (취미) section.

There's also Youngpoong, but it's hard to say that it's better than Kyobo would be. Still, it's worth a shot if you aren't satisfied with what you find: http://www.ypbooks.co.kr/

Thanks, everyone, for the advice.

Other than the books on Tchan's blog, are there any other good Korean books that anyone particularly liked or would recommend?
