Just saw this on ebay (no affiliation)

Not sure of the authenticity and there appears to be smudges all over the diagrams.

It's Gokyo Shumyo which is easily available in old and modern editions. In any case most of the problems turn up in other books such as the Chinese 1001 Problems or Cho's Life & Death.

This edition may be Meiji but technically it's an Edo-period book (1817).

I'd be wary of the "smudges", too. They might be due to mildew. If it were a modern book made with acidic paper I'd think the smudges were signs of deterioartion of the paper.

The apparent smudges are the result of Xeroxing, is my guess. (Xeroxing works by contrast, which is low in the middle of the black stones.)
