Which would be the most popular go server in the world? Tygem? KGS? Or another one? Cheers! |

I don't really know, according to what people tell me I think, in the west, KGS. In the east, it's Tygem. In Europe it's definitely KGS. |

DrStraw wrote: Probably IGS. It's not even close to Tygem. The only question is if there are Chinese servers bigger than Tygem. KGS is biggest for non-Asia players. |

What about the Chinese server TOM ? I think YiCheng (Chinese version of Tygem) is bigger than TOM so Tygem is bigger. As a side note, TOM used to also be a Chinese version of Tygem until a couple of years back when it broke off (and became less popular). |

I always thought that people using the tom service actualy were also connected to the tygem network. (not sure anymore where I read this) So when I was playing on the chinese servers of tygem I could be playing someone on TOM. After reading this I'm not so sure anymore, can anyone confirm if this is true or not ? Cheers, Otenki |

@otenki: That was the case a few years back (not completely sure), but not any more (100% certain). |
