Rough translation: It is sponsered by KB Bank. Total Purse is W1650,000,000. Winner takes W400,000,000(Korean won). Game will be played every Thursday and Sunday, 7pm and 9pm(Korea time). 8 teams will play double league and top 4 teams will play post season tournament. Each round consists of 5 games and game 1,2,3 and 5 will have 5x40sec and game 4 will have 1 hour and 5x40sec time limit. It says 14 rounds and total 280 games but I don't understand how this figure came. |

It says 14 rounds and total 280 games but I don't understand how this figure came. i think 280 games make sense - 14 rounds, 8 teams, 5 players a match -> 14*4*5 = 280 (14 rounds come from the format of double league) one thing i am not sure about - so 4 of 5 played games are fast and 1 is slow? i was under impression that it is the opposite, 4 slow and 1 fast (more suitable for TV broadcast). but i can't even recall where did i read it, so if Koreans write it is the way you wrote, i don't doubt it |
