implemented basic google wave functions...

you can post a wave by using:

Code:
[gwave]url[/gwave]

also, make sure to make the wave public.

Not that I'll ever use this function, but I got the following error message in a large red frame:

Quote:
Error
https://wave.google.com/wave/?client.ty ... ht=19920px

The Web site does not permit its content to be displayed in a frame. It must be displayed in a separate window.

Load document in a new window

When I load the document in a new window I get the following:

Quote:
Sorry, it looks like you're using a browser that isn't supported during the preview of Google Wave.

If you'd like to try out the exciting world of Wave we suggest that you use one of these browsers:Google Chrome Safari 4 Firefox 3.5

I am using Opera 10.52

Google wave did not add opera to their supported browsers. So Opera will not work.

Weak sauce.

You could probably change your user agent to reflect one these browsers, if you're not too insulted by their non-support of Opera. I hate web sites that block you simply for what your user agent says, even if it would work.

If the wave is modified is it reflected in the dates of the post?

Post subject:  Re: Google Wave

No, the wave is just embedded in the page; it doesn't actually interact with the phpBB database or anything.

Sorry. I should have said, shouldn't waves that have been modified be reflected in the dates opf the posts somehow.

I think that people need to have some way of knowing when a thread has been modified.

Since the thread is not marked as "updated" I'll repost my comment here.
For waves to be useful for discussing go you need a widget which will allow you to edit sgf's.

Does anyone know of such a widget?

I know there is a widget that will let you play a game... not sure if it will edit sgf's or not yet...

Google Wave may be shutting down by the end of the year.

(In case you weren't yet aware.)

Wave may be shutting down but they are realeasing an application that lets you run a wave server.
Would be nice to add that feature directly.
