I really liked the ability to click a single button for seeing all new posts since the last time I looked. |

Should be along the top, right above the box that shows where you are at in the forums. I think the one you are looking for is on the right side. "View unread posts" Or maybe just "View new posts". |

I see. It wasn't there before I registered, and I registered so I could post the request, but I didn't look at the features available after registering. Brain damage. Thanks. |

"View unread posts" is working very well for me. I am not sure of the difference with "View new posts" |

view unread posts has all the posts you havnt read..... view new posts has all the new posts since your last login.... view unread posts pretty much looks like the same thing but as you go on you'll find its a longer list. |

I can see how each would be useful in slightly different ways. For example "View New Posts" would be a way to avoid having to mark uninteresting posts by logging out between sessions of reading the forums. Thanks |

Is everyone really happy about "View new posts"? I really miss the dividing line of "last visit" that used to be on GD; I don't have time to read most of the threads and then it's difficult to find the spot in View new posts where to pick up scanning for new threads. (Speaking of which, it would be great to have a one-click way to hide a thread from "View new posts" so that it does not show up until I visit the thread again. But I think such a feature would be relatively a lot of work.) |

I would prefer something like "View threads with new posts since the last time you visited and/or refreshed", like GD had, but I'm making due with the "view new posts" function. Is it possible to add something like the other option? |

I'm still trying to figure out how it works before I complain too much about how I'd like it to work |

I missed it at first, but in these new and heady days I'm pretty excited to read just about everything. I think long-term as long as you're easily able to mark threads as read, and have certain forums or subforms (like Malkovich games) excluded from "View unread posts" (or "View new posts"), it won't be a problem, at least not for me personally. |

GD has a "view today's posts" button, that would return a list of threads that had been bumped with new posts any time in the last 24 hours. I *really* like that button. |

For instance, I'd like to temporarily ignore some of the Malkovich games, then catch up on them in larger chunks. Any chances this could get implemented? |

Yeah, I'm getting tired of having to "Mark Forum Read" on the Malkoviches every time I go through the "View new posts" list. A small complaint, doesn't take that much of my time, but it'd be awful nice if I could "Ignore Forum" and "Unignore Forum" rather than "Mark Forum Read". |
