The only way I've found to open a .gobook file on the iPhone or iPad is to put in the Dropbox folder on the Mac, then open it with Dropbox on the iOS device and choose "Open in... > SmartGo Kifu".

You can also email it to yourself!

Why don't you simply link to the *.gobook or attach it to your post. Won't that allow us to use 'open in SmartGo kifu' directly on our iPads?

Two alternative iPad browsers, Atomic Web and iCab Mobile, correctly save the .gobook file from the direct link and offer SmartGo Kifu under 'open in other apps'. Of course Safari is hopeless and Mercury insists on appending a .txt to the file name (which I can't seem to rename) so that SmartGo does not appear as a possible app to open the resulting file.

This one looks a bit more to what the tool will look like :

http://gocdf.ch/test/gobook/demo2.html

Try with chrome (which supports drag and drop of file)

Still buggy... but you can now naviguate and play with diagrams

I will do a proper topic for this tool when it will be a bit more mature.
I want to do both reading and editing of .gobook, so quite a lot left to do ; ) ...
