I have the paperback and always regreted the fact that I only replayed a few games. It always seemed like hard work to take the thick book and work through the diagrams with a board and stones.

Now on the iPad it's a different story. You can replay the moves within the diagrams and also try out your own variations - nice.

SmartGo Books really spoils me for paper or non-interactive books. I picked up a couple Backgammon books and I keep thinking to myself, "Wouldn't it be great if they were like SmartGo Books?". :) This would also be superb for chess books.
