Post subject:  Best way to get diagrams into Open Office Writer

I have an Open Office Writer document where I put nice sequences in that I run across during studying.

Currently I use CGoban to create the position, then hit Ctrl+Alt+Print to get the whole window into the clipboard. Then I open Paint and insert the image, select the relevant region and paiste it into the Open Office document.

Now the diagrams always vary a little bit in size and I keep thinking that there might be a better way of doing this.

Anyone doing that differently?

Yes, try MultiGo.

I have created my own go font and used it to create my tsumego problems, 6 per page (DIN A4), and the solution on the back. The advantage is that you can scale the diagrams, and that the documents are much smaller than if you use images.

You may want to try GoWrite2. It has a lot of features for printing/exporting diagrams and games.

I tried MultiGo but it does not have a powerful publishing functionality.

After also trying Drago, I find GOWrite best suited. After you figure out how to do it, you get very nice results - see screenshot.

Hi SpongeBob, MultiGo has File > Save Board as Picture (Ctrl+Q). (See screenshot)
GoWrite has a lot of publishing features (based on their Facts Sheet).
