Stumbled upon this softside cooler at REI. https://www.rei.com/product/148043/rei- ... oft-cooler There are dozens of soft and semi-rigid coolers on the market. If you shop carefully you can probably find one that hold and protect a full sized board diagonally. This unit from REI is 20x21x2 inches when flat. Perfect. If you leave it flat and resist the temptation to fill it up with beer and ice, it will help you move your 1-1/2’ to 3” table board to and from go club. Not quite enough room for stones and bowls so you’ll still need another bag or case. There’s only about 3/8” of effective padding but a secure should strap allows you to navigate the parking lot and coffee shop doors. The top zipper protects against rain and spilled coffee. The external surface is rough so might pick up the dog hair in your van, though. |

Thanks for posting this. I went to REI yesterday and picked one up. Fits my shin Kaya from Yellow Mountain Imports, which I believe is a Chinese-size board and thus on the larger side. Fits like a glove. I will definitely be taking this to my Go club from now on |
