I would be very pleased if someone could give me some advice on this game. I am sure I made plenty of mistakes before this point (certainly many afterwards), but I was wondering if there is a standard way to respond to move 31? A similar sequence happened later in the game - move 113 - but I totally messed up that one. I would appreciate suggestions about these moves in particular, but also the rest of my (very sloppy but mercifully short) game.

Thanks! So I guess move 58 was the real mistake for me - and everything else cascaded afterwards! What would be better? K15, K14, tenuki?

You're welcome. :b58: was not THE mistake. There were many mistakes, but it's not the most efficient to point them all out,
so we focus on just a few. (Because there are mistakes of different levels, and some are more difficult to fix than others.)
For example, at :b58:, notice the two W stones at Q10 and R6 are very thin (weak),
so it's possible to do something there. Another big move is just taking the W stone with E13.
There are multiple options for B. The problem is more and more mistakes hurt you later.
(See your broken shape starting at :b98:. See also Toothpaste
and Small Gap )

Ah. Yes. Sorry. I realised it was riddled with mistakes. I didn't mean to imply I had only made 1 mistake!!! Thanks for the extra comments. I will try to apply tbem...
