Hey everyone. I thought I'd post a game for review here and hopefully you can point out some of my mistakes ![]() Opening was rather interesting? -203 (G10 wins the game I think)

1) Interesting fuseki. I have to think about it for a while to comment further. 2) At move 88, you do not need to play L1. J1 and L1 are miai. If you play K5 instead, his survival is uncertain. 3) After the resolution of the lower left, you waited a long time to invade/reduce his left side. |

From about 162 onward, when the shape of your group becomes defined, alarms should start going off in the back of your brain. When you see an eye space like this: ...the fact that it is so close to a known dead shape like this: ...should cause you to take a closer look at it. Leaving clumpy eye space undivided is going to get you killed when you play opponents who are just a bit more alert than this one. |
