I've been studying a lot of tesuji and sabaki recently (trying to get really strong at tactics). This game is my attempt to play as sharply as possible (specifically in the opening) and take control of the flow of the game. It worked pretty well until I misread a capture race during byo yomi. I'm not entirely convinced I wasn't just overplaying all during the beginning, so some feedback either way would be appreciated.

Also, I always feel a little aimless during this sort of whole board sandwiching of multiple weak groups. My goal is usually just to keep from dying horribly in multiple places. In the game it worked well for me because I don't think white was using inducing moves to build the top at all, when he probably could have. Against an opponent who's making as many points on the top as I am on the bottom, should I be aiming for anything strategically to get an advantage? Or is it good enough to just keep pushing each other through the middle?

At :b19: , I would like to play F14 joseki. Even if/when white spends yet another move on bottom left, your C6 stone is still dripping with aji.

:b81: strikes me as the wrong direction.

Edit: formatting.

I didn't see many moves that struck me as obvious overplays except maybe the play around D11 - not sure where exactly black went wrong, but the shape at move 37 feels a bit awkward (E14 especially feels a bit painful even though it's sort of a driving tesuji). Black did get better results in other parts of the board, though, so maybe it's ok.

Some of your moves (e.g. 53, 55, 57, 71, 73, 103) feel a bit like using up ko threats/trying to kill too soon.

At move 99, I would consider the cut at L11 instead - seems hard for white to deal with.

You can connect at 177.

Just capture at 191 seems to avoid the capturing race.

At move 75 you can play H12 instead and capture the cutting stones. After that the game is quite good for black because white still has to live with his bottom left group.

Does H12 actually capture? Seems like there's enough weaknesses for white to break out. H12 does seem better regardless, though.

b resigned because he thinks he looses the semeai. Maybe I am mistaken or pointing out the obvious but it seems b wins the semeai if he plays :b11: at a. So w should play ko with :w8: at b.

Nice sequence! I didn't read that far and would have resigned just because it seems impossible to get a good result after the cut, but "a" is very nice, and could potentially save the game (generally - I didn't count the game either) if there are enough ko threats.

Well, maybe he resigned because he lost the previous semeai in the upper right instead of this one in the lower right. After that he was already too much behind.
