Could this be Renju? Edit: nevermind, apparently the book is full of Go references. This must be from a nine stone handicap game - White is outnumbered 2-to-1, but already ahead

If it is black's move, black cannot attack white or white cuts. White is certainly winning this fight  And in this instance, it really is a bad empty triangle for black. There is no need for that connection.Why are we analyzing a novel's cover again? |

I would post my idea of the funniest go cover, but I suspect the image would be removed. A description would probably be removed as obscene. |
