How do you like your "Like" text?

And conveniently, Robert's link also provides a nice set of rebuttals to his arguments, so perhaps this sub-discussion could do without re-warming, unless of course a second like disliker has in the meantime emerged on our forum.

Well, reading the threads that Robert linked to make me feel that a number of people do appreciate the "Like" system, so it's probably not a good idea to do away with it altogether.

I don't see how allowing a user to hide the "Like" section from their profile information could really hurt, though, so I will see if I can figure out a way to do this. It may take a little bit of time, though, because I think I'm going to have to slightly "mod the mod" that's being used.

I agree with Araban - whatever way is fine, but remove the "times" from the numbers.

The text has been changed to "Was liked" and "Liked others", with the "times" part being left out.

I am still working on allowing for the like profile information to be optionally selected, but I haven't been successful with it, yet.
